Job SummaryWe are looking for a new Automation Specialist employee to be based in Lodz.
What a typical day looks like:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults related to automation systems, PLCs, HMIs, cobots, drives, sensors, safety circuits, industrial communication systems, and pneumatic control systems.
- Supporting production and participating in root cause analyses.
- Performing minor PLC and HMI modifications and maintaining up-to-date software backups.
- Maintaining technical documentation for production equipment and automation systems.
- Participating in machine upgrades, commissioning, technical acceptance activities, and investment projects.
- Supporting the reliability and availability of production equipment and automation systems associated with technical infrastructure.
- Ensuring the availability of automation components and critical spare parts.
- Cooperating with Maintenance Technicians, Process Engineering, Production, Quality, IT, suppliers, and external service providers.
The experience/qualification we are looking to add to our team:
- At least secondary technical education in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of practical experience in industrial automation, maintenance, commissioning, or equipment modernization.
- Practical knowledge of PLC and HMI systems.
- Ability to diagnose faults in automated production equipment.
- Knowledge of drives, sensors, safety circuits, pneumatic systems, and industrial communication networks.
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams and technical documentation.
- Fluent Polish and at least intermediate level English language skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the Maintenance Team.
- Experience with machinery used in the packaging industry would be an advantage.
- Eligibility to work in the Poland (EU).
