Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Cypress for web applications.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements, contribute to test strategies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across various environments.
- Ensure adherence to the test pyramid and best practices in test automation and software quality.
- Analyze test results, identify and document defects, and track them through resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous delivery pipelines.
- Act as a quality advocate and collaborate with multiple teams to drive improvements in processes, tools, and standards.
- Manage priorities and tasks efficiently in a demanding and fast-changing environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 plus years of experience
- Experience with test automation, ideally Cypress
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Github
- Experience with performance testing, including tools such as K6Proficient in JavaScriptAzure,
- Kubernetes, C#, automation tools such as Selenium, or Appium.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured).
- Familiarity with other testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).
- Exposure to performance or load testing tools is a plus.
- Background in a DevOps or Continuous Testing environment.
