We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development and execution of automated test solutions, working closely with development, business and product teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Monthly Salary: 2.900 Gross Euros

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for web applications and APIs.
  • Develop and execute automated API tests using REST Assured.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end UI automated tests using Playwright.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression and smoke testing activities.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to support issue resolution.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards and automation practices.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation, test reports and quality metrics.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
  • Hands-on experience with REST Assured for API test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end UI test automation.
  • Good understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques and defect management processes.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs and modern web applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing within DevOps environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
