Experience & Domain Knowledge:

  • Test Automation Frameworks: Proven experience in creating and modifying test automation frameworks, with a focus on functional testing. Strong understanding of setting up automation processes and best practices.
  • Exploratory Testing: Ability to grasp domain intricacies quickly, with a focus on exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential issues.
  • Feature Delivery: Experience being part of engineering teams with responsibility for the successful delivery of features from a testing perspective, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Strong experience working closely with product owners and technical leads to identify and prioritise test automation needs, aligning with product goals and timelines.

Technical Skills:

  • Automation Tools: Expertise in automation testing using Playwright and Jest, with a proven track record of automating complex functional testing scenarios.
  • API Testing: Advanced experience with API testing, including REST and WS API testing. Familiarity with industry-standard API testing tools.
  • Code Analysis & Debugging: Strong skills in code analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging, with a focus on investigating and resolving complex issues.
  • Test Automation Technologies: Hands-on experience in researching and implementing new test automation tools and technologies, driving improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
  • CI/CD Processes: Knowledge and experience with CI/CD processes and tools, including the ability to configure and optimize these for testing pipelines.
  • Database Knowledge: Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage in data-driven applications.

Soft Skills:

  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills, especially with development, product, and operations teams, to ensure clear understanding of requirements and seamless reporting of test results and defects.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to investigate and dissect complex systems and workflows to identify potential defects and translate findings into actionable test cases.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to detect even the smallest issues that could impact software quality and user experience.
  • Adaptability to Rapid Changes: Demonstrated capability to adjust quickly to evolving technologies, testing tools, and shifting project requirements.
  • Ownership and Accountability: Readiness to take full responsibility for the quality assurance process, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards and accepting accountability for the outcomes.

Millions of vascular procedures are performed each year with minimally invasive, endovascular procedures frequently preferred over open surgical repair. Currently, to navigate within vessels physicians rely on x-ray fluoroscopy. This technology has several critical limitations, including lack of soft tissue visualization and exposure to harmful ionizing radiation. IOPS™, which fits directly into existing workflows and operating rooms, eliminates this excessive radiation exposure by creating manipulable 3D models of the relevant anatomy. These intelligent models are created from existing imaging that is already part of the standard of care.

Centerline Biomedical, Inc. was founded in 2014 as a spinoff of the Cleveland Clinic to commercialize our innovative vascular navigation technology. With a research, development, and design history rooted in the Clinic’s world-class Lerner Research Institute’s Heart and Vascular Institute, the IOPS™ platform can be further used for predictive modeling, clinical decision support, global healthcare analytics and the education and training of future surgeons and interventionists.
