Your key responsibilities
- Design, develop automated test scripts and frameworks using Python & SQL.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Github workflows, Jenkins) to ensure continuous testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application features and create robust, comprehensive automation suite.
- Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and work to improve test coverage, traceability, and efficiency.
- Ability to understand the existing test framework written in Spark, BDD and contribute to any on-going application enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure test code quality and best practices.
- Some understanding of cloud-based data platforms such as GCP BigQuery, Snowflake or Databricks and DBT (Open source) is a plus.
- Nice to have – Banking & Finance Domain Knowledge.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in test automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python (like pyTest, great_expectation ,pandas etc ).
- SQL - Ability to write complex database queries
- Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g. Github workflow, Jenkins).
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
