  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a strictly related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Professional Certifications: Holding a recognized project management credential, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master.
  • Bilingual skills preferred (English required; Spanish a plus).

  • Experience in: 
    • Regulated Industry Background: GMP/GxP regulations and system validation.
    • Automation Project Experience: Automation tools (like workflows, robotic process automation [RPA], or low-code platforms) and creating future project roadmaps.
    • Financial & Budget Skills: Estimate project savings, calculate return on investment (ROI), and track project spend.
    • Process Improvement

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders; develop project plans, WBS, and resource strategies; and establish governance (decision rights, escalation paths, and RACI).
  • Serve as primary point of contact between business units, IT/engineering, and external vendors; facilitate project meetings and steering updates; and produce clear weekly/monthly status reporting while proactively managing expectations.
  • Lead process discovery and requirements workshops; document current-state workflows and functional/technical requirements; maintain traceability from business need to solution delivery; and prioritize automation opportunities based on impact, feasibility, and strategy.
  • Coordinate all phases of the project lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare); manage schedules/sprints and task assignments using standard tools; lead change control and impact assessments; and drive UAT, defect resolution, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Manage vendor relationships and hold partners accountable to deliverables and SLAs; support tool/platform evaluations; coordinate licensing/procurement as applicable; and review vendor deliverables for quality and alignment with project requirements.
  • Maintain risk/issues logs; identify technical, operational, and organizational risks with mitigation plans; manage dependencies across concurrent automation initiatives; and escalate critical blockers to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Develop and track project budgets (labor, licensing, infrastructure, third-party costs); forecast remaining spend and manage variances; support business case development with ROI/savings estimates; and provide financial summaries to sponsors and finance stakeholders.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with applicable procedures and compliance expectations (e.g., documentation practices, change control, and required training); drive readiness activities such as go-live checklists, rollback plans, and hypercare support.
