Automation Onsite Administrator (Defined Term)
The Automated Onsite Administrator provides support for Omnicell solutions to ensure desired customer outcomes. This role builds and maintains the relationship between the client and Omnicell by consistently confirming the efficient use of the Omnicell systems.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive management and administration of the Omnicell system for a customer.
Manage the generation of reports following best practices and analyze or disseminate report information to appropriate resources
Provide optimization services and analysis for customers.
Identify opportunities for inventory improvement.
Retrieve and analyze data from Omnicell and various customer systems to create custom views.
Conduct and manage the in-service training process of Omnicell products that includes analysis of training needs, creation of effective presentations and evaluation of re-training needs for customer’s end users.
Continually evaluate/monitor customer’s satisfaction with systems
Perform onsite triage and troubleshooting of Omnicell products, including minor repairs when needed.
Coordinate required system enhancements, upgrades, and beta activities.
Identify problems and coordinate tasks necessary to solve them. (This may include interdepartmental task coordination).
Attend required training/meetings as needed for Omnicell or for customer.
Maintain a positive working relationship with the customer.
What You Bring
Required Knowledge and Skills
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, gathering data from different sources and merging information into a single output.
Strong management, presentation, planning and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to build trust and rapport with customer departments in which they interact.
A self-starter who can work independently.
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
Ability to present to various levels in an organization from newly hired technicians to department chiefs.
Basic Qualifications
Associate’s degree or Professional Certification (PTCB/CPhT)
2 years of experience within a hospital (healthcare) or hospital medication inventory / materials management environment.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor’s degree, Certified Pharmacy Technician.
In-depth knowledge of Omnicell products.
Knowledge of acute-care distribution of medications and/or supplies.
Work Conditions
Defined Term (6 months)
Hospital Pharmacy setting
Able to commute daily to assigned site: 4802 10th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11219, Brooklyn, NY / NYNY
Working hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (10 am to 6:30 pm EST) (customer may request different shifts if project required)
Hazardous medications
Compensation will vary on region. For the state of NY, expected hourly range starts at $28 to $28+/hour.
