Job Description:
** 2 days per week in office.
The Opportunity:
You are both a senior and leadership member of the Quality Engineering department and responsible of providing oversight and input to all aspects of quality assurance including applying industry best practices, developing new testing solutions and methods, and maintain/contribute with the Quality metrics defined in the department.
Your Responsibilities:
Oversee overall test planning and test execution approach of ongoing software releases and new feature development.
Develop and implement quality practices.
Plan, develop and execute test strategy across products and platforms.
Able to jump in and help to execute tests as appropriate.
Participate in software release management activities.
Own change control and configuration management of the test environments.
Code standardization and enforcement of engineering principles.
Define, document, and enhance QA process aligned to established test tracks, train team members in those processes.
Implement critical knowledge transfer sessions, technical training on new technologies, patterns and standards.
Drive and maintain department Software Quality metrics to Topline Key Performance Indicators and Agile Quality indicators.
Participate in/perform resource management tasks and communicate (both up and down) on project and software release status.
Assist in architecting the overall Quality engineering organization with the Department Manager and Principal QA.
Cross functional collaboration with developers, product managers and DevOps, and communication processes with all the teams.
Lead with an agile approach.
Qualifications:
Advanced English level.
Exp. as a QA Lead or equivalent.
Solid exp. in Web, Middleware, and Mobile applications testing.
Exp. with automation tools (Playwright, TypeScript, Python ideally and/or Java, Selenium, Jmeter).
Exp. in writing and executing SQL scripts for database level validations.
Test management tooling experience (like TestRail and Jira).
Exp. with Agile Methodologies.
Exp. managing test estimations and test execution schedules across a product roadmap.
Administrative level knowledge of change control and configuration management practices.
Exp. in Black box, Gray box, White box, Test-to-Pass, Test-to-Fail test techniques.
Exp. in End to End and Integration testing services.
Working knowledge of Quality Metrics in QA and QC context.
