About the Role
We’re hiring a QA Automation Infrastructure Engineer to help build and maintain Cyera’s core automation infrastructure.
In this role, you’ll develop the shared frameworks, tools, libraries, CI/CD integrations, reporting capabilities, and self-service solutions that enable QA engineers and developers to create, run, debug, monitor, and maintain automated tests efficiently.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building scalable automation infrastructure that supports quality across R&D.
What you’ll do
- Design, implement, and maintain shared QA automation infrastructure.
- Build frameworks, libraries, utilities, and internal tools for automation at scale.
- Enable self-service testing for developers and QA engineers.
- Support component, integration, system, API, backend, frontend, and E2E testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve test execution reliability, scalability, performance, and debugging experience.
- Build reporting, dashboards, and monitoring capabilities for automation KPIs and quality trends.
- Troubleshoot automation framework issues, flaky tests, infrastructure failures, and CI/CD pipeline problems.
- Collaborate closely with QA Architects, QA Automation Developers, developers, DevOps, and QA leadership.
- Contribute to documentation, best practices, templates, and training materials.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience in TypeScript and/or Python.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including deep language understanding, clean code practices, and the ability to design maintainable, scalable solutions.
- Proven experience building automation infrastructure at scale, including frameworks, shared libraries, internal tools, and self-service platforms used by dozens to hundreds of engineers and QA users across multiple teams and products.
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Pytest, Cypress, Selenium, or similar technologies.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of test execution, debugging, reporting, failure analysis, automation reliability, and flaky test investigation.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, or scalable test execution environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to investigate complex automation, infrastructure, and pipeline issues.
- Passionate about AI and actively explores new ways to apply AI tools to improve productivity, quality, debugging, and QA efficiency.

- Experience with test optimization, stabilization, parallelization, and failures tracking.
- Experience building dashboards, automation KPIs, reporting tools, or quality visibility systems.
- Experience with microservices, Kafka, distributed systems, or event-driven architectures.
