PURPOSE:
Under general supervision, this role is responsible for overseeing a team of planners that are responsible for coordinating robotic activities and robotic planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage teams and resources, both at the clients and at customer facilities, for electrical and controls installation
- Create clear and detailed Scope of Work documentation for effective supplier quoting
- Coach and mentor Robotic Programmers
- Create new, and modify existing, robotics programming to customer standards to implement solutions
- Support hardware design in distributed IO and industrial networking concepts
- Support quoting process for new projects and change orders
QUALIFICATIONS:
- This position requires an Bachelors Degree or higher in automation/electrical or 10+ years experience in automation technology.
- 5+ years onsite experience
- 1-2 years electrical software and hardware design experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge and understanding of robotic systems
- Ability to Travel
- Familiar with robotic planning
- Good understanding of customer standards for key customers
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Problem solving/ Analytical thinking
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information, both verbally and in writing.
- Work experience with equipment and tooling related issues
- Experience in project management and in leading problem solving groups
- Knowledge in system applications such as SAP, CAD
- Drafting skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
