This Position reports to:
HR Business Partner
An Engineering Manager manages a team of engineer to deliver high quality, cost effective, and timely engineering solutions to customers. This role plans and allocates resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets. Also, initiates, coordinates, drives, and oversees team development and continual improvement of process and proceedures to strengthen the eingineering capability.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Acting as a role model in applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
- Serving as a specialist in the application of advanced concepts and methods.
- Leading, supervising, and coordinates teams (5-25 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects of medium complexity.
- Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
Qualifications for the role
- Project and Risk Management: Oversee project planning, execution, and completion to ensure timely, eithin-scope, and budget-compliant delivery. Identifu and mitigate project risks and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team and foster a collaborative innovative environment. Conduct performance reviews and ensure team skills meet internal standards and client needs. Provide technical guidance, review work and drive continuous improvement to implement new technologies.
- Business Engagement and Customer satisfaction: Manage and monitor team activation / utilization and service margins. Ensure customer satisfaction with high-quality solutions. Identify, report and monitor business opportunities.
