Catalyx is seeking and Automation Engineer to support
automation initiatives within a GMP-regulated biologics pilot plant. This role
involves hands-on automation system support, integration, maintenance, and
continuous improvement efforts. The individual will also contribute to
documentation aligned with SDLC and GMP compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
· Provide automation system support and
troubleshooting in a GMP environment
· Lead or support integration of new automation
systems and devices
· Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and
enhancements
· Contribute to SDLC processes, including
documentation and SOP development
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
ensure system reliability and compliance
Requirements
· 3+ years of experience in industrial automation
· Strong experience with Ignition platforms
· Solid understanding of IT/OT integration
· Hands-on experience with PLC programming
· Experience working within GMP-regulated
environments
· Proven ability in system and device
integration
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with PI Historian
· Experience with DeltaV systems , Unicorn
