The Opportunity:

Join our dynamic team and be a key player in transforming our system security evaluation and authorization process. We are seeking an innovative engineer to help us shift from a manual system to a cutting-edge, automated model. This role offers the chance to work on exciting projects that emphasize automation, streamlined processes, continuous monitoring, and comprehensive network data gathering throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Python-based ReST endpoints, microservices, and data model management capabilities using Django and Flask frameworks.

• Interact with data models such as MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, and deliver data in JSON format to UI front ends upon request.

• Provide middleware and backend support for all system applications.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python

• Experience with Django or Flask

• Database experience with MongoDB or MariaDB

• ReST endpoint development

• Microservice architecture

• Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma + 10 years minimum experience

  • OR Associate’s degree + 8 years minimum experience

  • OR Bachelor’s degree + 6 years minimum experience

  • OR Master’s degree + 4 years minimum experience

  • OR Doctorate’s degree + 2 years minimum experience

Desired:

• Experience with Swagger

• Cloud experience with AWS, C2S, or similar platforms

• Proficiency with Docker

• Experience with Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs

• Knowledge of JSON and/or XML serialization

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence

• Git version control experience

• Agile methodology experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$103,800 - $218,100
