What success looks like in this role:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, or Go.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and writing unit/integration tests.
- • Breaks down functional and business requirements into tangible, clear and estimable objectives, providing recommendations to management and project team members.
- • Writes end-to-end automated tests to provide code coverage for business-critical components.
- • Ensures quality, performance and adherence to specifications of assigned development tasks and adjacent technology solutions.
- • Works with team members to ensure design, development and execution align with and support adjacencies and adhere to established architectural standards.
- • Notifies team or technical manager of variances from plans and identifies changes in scope or work.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and
- 5–8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven track record of leading projects or mentoring junior engineers.
- Experience in agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban).
- Hands-on experience with system performance tuning and scalability
