Your Role
A 12 month contract has become available for a Automation/MES Engineer (internally referred to as Value Stream Recipe Owner) in the Execution Systems department at CSL Behring Broadmeadows.
The Execution Systems Department provides MES, Automation and control systems expertise for the CSL Behring Broadmeadows site.
Your Role
Reporting to the APAC Execution System Recipe Owner – Bulk you will:
- Perform manufacturing support of the facilities with the goal of maximizing facility uptime, including Incident tracking, remediation, change implementation and improvements associated with the Bulk Value Stream
- Adhere to the global strategy & scope by maintaining/delivering/implementing the required process control within the DCS, PCS, MES and PLC systems for both new and legacy systems.
- Technical project subject matter expert for Execution Systems related project deliverables during design, construction, commissioning, and validation phases of CAPEX projects & OPEX initiatives & changes
- Ownership of the process recipe and configuration across the MES, PCS, and/or PLC systems & alignment to global Execution Systems approach.
- Ensure all work performed is of high quality and in compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and CSL procedures and provide a strong contribution to audit inspection activities
Your Experience
- Degree in the discipline of Computer Science; Mechatronics; Computer Systems Engineering or a similar field
- 2 years or more working experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems/Automation design and support
- Capability to fault find and resolve complex MES / Control System issues
- Experience in process automation, MES and batch manufacturing industry standards (ISA S88 &S95)
- Pharmaceutical experience and a good knowledge of GMP principles is desirable
- Experience in Siemens PCS 7 or JAG control systems would be beneficial
