We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead our quality assurance team and drive our testing efforts for our security software project with a strong emphasis on AI. The Test Manager will be responsible for managing the testing team, defining and implementing testing strategies, creating and reviewing test cases, driving test automation initiatives, executing test cases, providing comprehensive test reports, and ultimately ensuring that our products are thoroughly tested and meet the highest standards of quality before deployment to production.
What you’ll do:
Team Leadership and Management:
Build, lead, mentor, and manage a team of test engineers
Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and monitor team performance.
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for team members' growth and development.
Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for the team.
Test Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test processes aligned with project goals and timelines.
Define test scope, objectives, and resource requirements for various testing phases.
Collaborate with development, product, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective testing approaches.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to testing.
Research, evaluate, and implement advanced AI and machine learning techniques for test automation, including Developing custom AI models for test case generation and anomaly detection.
Test Case Management & Automation:
Lead the effort in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
Drive the strategy and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools.
Lead the automation effort for regression, functional, and other relevant test suites.
Implement AI-driven techniques for test case optimization, prioritization based on risk and impact, and identification of redundant test cases.
Collaborate with test engineers to develop and maintain manual as well as automated test scripts.
Analyze automation results and identify areas for improvement.
Test Execution and Reporting:
Oversee the execution of test cases (manual and automated) and ensure timely completion of testing activities.
As technology develops, lead the development of AI-driven test data management solutions.
Monitor test progress, track defects, and manage the defect lifecycle.
Generate clear and concise test reports, providing stakeholders with timely updates on test status, defect metrics,Test coverage metrics and overall product quality.
Analyze test results to identify trends and areas of concern.
Quality Assurance and Product Readiness:
Act as a strong advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and processes.
Evaluate the overall quality of the product and provide recommendations for release readiness.
Coordinating with Client team for integration testing between applications
Participate in release decisions and provide sign-off on testing activities.
Continuous Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future testing efforts.
What experience you need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
14+ years of experience in software testing, with a significant portion in a leadership or management role.
Proven experience in developing and implementing test strategies and plans.
Strong understanding of different testing methodologies
ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing process.
Hands-on experience in drafting, reviewing, and executing test cases for various types of testing (e.g., functional, integration, system, regression, performance).
Solid experience in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and other testing tools (Load Runner) automation tools
Proven ability to create and set up API automation frameworks from scratch.
Strong understanding of RESTful API concepts and protocols.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
