Automation Developer

Our client is seeking an Automation Developer to support a customer in Washington, DC. Qualified candidates will have an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to stakeholder requirements.

• Gather, analyze, and interpret business requirements to deliver meaningful data visualizations and insights.

• Collaborate effectively with data engineers and analysts to source, clean, transform, and structure data for reporting.

• Develop complex Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) measures and calculations to enhance analytical capabilities.

• Ensure strict adherence to data security protocols and compliance standards.

• Diagnose and resolve issues within Power BI reports promptly.

• Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end users.

• Stay abreast of the latest Power BI updates, features, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Power BI Developer.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, or related field.

Required Skills:

• Proven expertise in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Strong proficiency in data modeling, data visualization, and analytics.

• Solid SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.

• Advanced knowledge of DAX to perform intricate data analysis.

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.

• Exceptional attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team.

• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project requirements and environments.

Preferred:

• Relevant Power BI certifications are highly desirable.
