About the Team You'll Join

Our CENTURIA CAPITAL client is an ASX-200 listed investment manager specializing in real estate funds and investment bonds. The group has a strong growth focus, with assets under management of $21 billion as of 30 June 2023.

Our client offers investments in listed and unlisted property across 460+ high quality office, industrial and healthcare buildings around Australia and New Zealand.

Shift: AU working hours

Work setup: The position on a hybrid set-up 3 times work onsite and 2 times work from home, Monday to Friday on a morning shift. The office is located at The Curve, 11th Floor, 32nd Street corner 3rd Avenue, BGC, Taguig City

Role Overview:

The Automation Developer will be responsible for designing, building and supporting automation solutions across finance, property and operational workflows.

The role will focus on leveraging Microsoft. Technologies including Power Automate (cloud and desktop), Computer Use Agent and Copilot Studio to reduce manual effort, improve data quality and enhance reporting processes.

This role sits within Shared Services working closely with both onshore and Manila-based teams to deliver scalable automation solutions across the business, with a strong focus on processes involving real estate operations and financial systems such as MRI (Management Reports International).

Reporting To: Head of Shared Services.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years’ experience in automation, software development or low-code platforms

• Excel-based data manipulation and automation
  
• Experience working with web-based systems and UI automation
  
• Understanding of process design, workflow optimization and automation principles
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  

 What You'll Be Working On:

Automation & Workflow Development:

• Design, build and maintain automation workflows using:
  
• Power Automate (cloud flows)
  
• Computer Use Agent
  
• Power Automate Desktop (RPA)
  
• Automate manual processes across finance and operations, including:
  
• Accruals and month-end processes
  
• P&L variance commentary entry into MRI
  
• Data extraction, transformation and reporting workflows
  
• Develop re-usable automation components to support scaling across portfolios
  

AI & Copilot Solutions:

• Design and deploy Copilot Studio agents to:
  
• Support business processes
  
• Enable knowledge retrieval from SOPs and documentation
  
• Assist with workflow orchestration and decision support
  
• Integrate Copilot agents with Power Automate workflows and core systems
  
• Identify practical use cases where AI can improve productivity and reduce manual workload
  

Systems & Data Integration:

• Build integrations between:
  
• Excel, SharePoint and Power BI
  
• Core business systems (including MRI and other finance platforms)
  
• Structure and manage data inputs required for automation processes
  
• Optimize automation solutions for performance, reliability and scalability
  

Process Improvement:

• Review SOPs and existing workflows to identify automation opportunities
  
• Work with business stakeholders (Finance, Property, Operations) to:
  
• Simplify processes prior to automation
  
• Standardize data structures and outputs
  
• Improve process consistency and reduce manual error
  

Governance & Support:

• Implement logging, exception handling and audit controls across all automation solutions
  
• Maintain documentation for all deployed automations
  
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for automations in production
  
• Ensure all solutions align with internal governance, security and compliance requirements
  

Future Priorities

As the individual gains a deeper understanding of business systems and workflows, responsibilities will expand to include:

• Broader ownership of automation strategy across Shared Services
  
• Integration of automation into reporting platforms (e.g. Power BI)
  
• Development of more advanced AI-driven solutions and agent-based workflows
  
• Support and training of offshore team members in automation tools
  
• Continuous improvement of month-end close and reporting processes
  

Industry & Systems Experience:

• Experience within real estate / property or financial services environment (preferred)
  
• Experience working with MRI (Management Reports International) or similar ERP/accounting platforms (strongly preferred)
  
• Understanding of financial processes such as:
  
• General Ledger
  
• Accruals
  
• Month-end close cycles
  
• Transaction Accounting (AR, AP, Bank Rec)
  

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills, ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
• High attention to detail, particularly in finance-related processes
