Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the build, integration, and commissioning activities for automation projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Lead and execute the development of project scope, schedules, deliverables, and integration requirements partnering with system integrators, internal technical teams, and site readiness leads to define
- Drives all aspects of automation deployment—including installation, testing, validation, and transition to production—ensuring compliance with safety and cyber standards.
- Manage risks, issues, and changes throughout the project lifecycle, providing proactive communication and quick resolution.
- Track project performance against agreed KPIs, milestones, and budget, reporting regularly to the Director, Integration & Commissioning.
- Establish and maintain documentation for project plans, technical specifications, commissioning checklists, and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with technology architects to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and fit for purpose.
- Support vendor management and performance oversight during the build and commissioning phases.
- Drive continuous improvement by ensuring post-project reviews and sharing best practices for automation deployment.
- Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders across engineering, operations, safety, cybersecurity, and IT/OT functions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related technical field plus 5+ years of experience building and deploying industrial automation solutions in large organizations. Associate's Degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related technical field plus 10+ years of experience building and deploying industrial automation solutions in large organizations.
- Expert in successfully managing large, complex automation projects from design through commissioning.
- Expert knowledge in automation architectures, safety standards, and cybersecurity requirements in industrial settings.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
