You will lead automation and cyber security for a manufacturing site in Pakistan. You will work closely with engineering, operations, quality and vendors to design, deliver and protect control systems. Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation and support of PLC, SCADA and control system automation projects.
- Own industrial cyber security tasks including risk assessments, system hardening and incident response planning.
- Plan and lead commissioning, qualification and formal handover of automated equipment.
- Investigate automation incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage third-party vendors and contractors to deliver safe, timely and compliant solutions.
- Maintain accurate records in maintenance, validation and security systems for audits.
Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 -5 years hands-on experience in industrial automation or control systems.
- Practical experience with PLCs and SCADA or distributed control systems.
- Experience implementing or supporting industrial cyber security measures.
- Experience in commissioning, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) or formal equipment handover.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with operational technology network design and segmentation.
- Familiarity with validation or quality management software and tools.
- Experience leading automation projects and managing vendor contracts.
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments.
