Join the Business Banking Governance team responsible for overseeing key functions to ensure the Line of Business meets regulatory expectations and internal policies and standards in support of our 2.5 million + clients across the US, 2500 Business Relationship Managers and 10,000 Small Business Specialists. Business Banking is dedicated to helping our Small Business Owners as they start, thrive and grow their businesses. Our goal is to provide the right banking products, services and advice across all segments of Small Businesses.
As an Automation & Simplification Associate I on our Business Banking Governance Team you will help develop strategies and solutions to streamline processes and reduce manual steps. This role will be responsible for SharePoint development, among other key initiatives. You will collaborate closely with business owners to develop an understanding of their process, provide strategic recommendations within SharePoint to gain efficiencies and improve the control environment.
Job Responsibilities:• Serve as a subject matter expert in SharePoint/InfoPath development (training provided)• Provide advice and recommendations to stakeholders in order to streamline processes in SharePoint• Ability to translate manual process steps into requirements and develop them in InfoPath• Identification and consideration of risks and controls when providing recommendations• Conduct research across the business and brainstorm ideas to automate or simplify processes, synthesize and present to leadership• Lead various initiatives and ad-hoc projects related to automation and simplification• Development of Excel dashboards
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills • Highly motivated, energetic self-starter with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (process improvement, product management, operations, product testing/UAT, strategy)• Strategic thinker who can problem solve, anticipate needs and provide solutions to stakeholders• Investigate mindset, strong analytics and process re-engineering skills; experience successfully executing process improvements• Adaptable to change and re-prioritize as business needs change• Ability to partner and collaborate effectively• Good working knowledge of controls in a business• Experience identifying issues and resolving the root cause• Advanced in Excel• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills • Bachelor's degree• Knowledge of Business Banking processes, procedures and business applications • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts • SharePoint/InfoPath development experience is a plus, but not required
