As a Automation and Manual Test Engineer, you will combine hands-on manual testing with the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks.
Using Python, Linux, and AI-assisted engineering, you'll design and develop automated regression tests, validate new features and bug fixes, investigate complex technical issues, and collaborate closely with development teams throughout the software lifecycle. You will also help shape the next generation of AI-assisted test automation, improving both engineering productivity and software quality.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and run automated regression tests to streamline QA processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, track, and resolve bugs.
- Investigate defects, validate fixes, and collaborate with developers.
- Design and execute manual testing strategies to validate product functionality.
- Analyze test results, communicate quality metrics, and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
- Deliver accurate, timely test reports to ensure adherence to release timelines.
- Basic to good knowledge of Python, gained through hands-on experience, projects, and previous roles.
- Familiarity with Linux and basic command-line operations.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and an interest in using structured prompts and iterative refinement.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn and work on technical challenges in a collaborative engineering environment.
- Fast learner with a passion for continuous improvement, a responsible approach, and the ability to gradually take ownership of tasks.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles, including exploratory and feature validation testing.
- Familiarity with test case management and defect tracking tools is an advantage.

Skills Required
- 3+ years of experience coding in Python
- Proficiency with Linux across various distributions
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools through well-structured prompts and iterative refinement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable working on complex technical challenges while balancing multiple priorities in a collaborative engineering environment
- Fast learner with passion for continuous improvement and strong ownership
- Strong foundation in exploratory and feature validation testing
