Position Overview:

What You’ll Do:

• Spread lays according to markers provided by Marker Making.
• Maintains daily records of spreading jobs and keeps workspace and equipment clean and well organized.
• Perform proper preventative maintenance as required on any equipment being used.
• Follow all safety guidelines and uses required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Notify supervisor of mechanical malfunctions. Inspect machinery to determine whether repairs are needed.
• Start machines, monitor operations, and make adjustments as needed.
• Confer with the supervisor to obtain information about orders, processes, or problems.

Let's Talk About You:

• Able to read markers and spread fabric to maximize fabric usage.
• Strong initiative to consistently meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a noisy, fast paced factory environment.
• Ability to comprehend and follow job safety guidelines. Skilled in the use of required machines (spreaders) and electrical tools (Chickadee Cutter).
• Capable of setting up machine to specifications and able to perform preventative maintenance to machine, tools/equipment.
• Ability to do repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
• Excellent eyesight and the ability to detect subtle differences among rolls of fabric (shading).
• Fabric Supply background is considered an asset.
• Consistently exhibits Canada Goose values- taking pride in being innovative, respectful, passionate, accountable, and entrepreneurial while exhibiting personal commitment.

HOURS OF WORK: Monday-Friday 7:00 am TO 3:30 pm Monday to Friday
