ASR is seeking an AutoCAD/GIS Support Specialist to maintain and update the USSS JJRTC AutoCAD and ESRI GIS databases for above-ground and subsurface utilities, building modifications, and new facility data in Laurel, MD. This is an option-year-funded role.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the existing AutoCAD and GIS database through input of information related to any changes, modifications, or corrections to provided information on above-ground and subsurface utilities, building modifications, and new building information.
• Complete database updates within 5 business days, ensuring data is accurate and complete.
• Support periodic database audits coordinated with the COR.
• Maintain ≤ 1 data inaccuracy per quarter (AQL).
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience with AutoCAD and ESRI GIS platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of software including Microsoft Office, Autodesk AutoCAD, and ESRI ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap, among others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
• Qualified applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, able to pass a background check, and able to obtain and maintain a PIV card and the required suitability determination.
• Esri Technical Certifications (e.g., ArcGIS Desktop Associate/Professional). (Preferred)
• Government contracting experience, particularly with DHS, USSS, or federal facility programs. (Preferred)
