Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.
Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people. Our backers include Accel, EQT Growth, Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sprints, and TPG.
As we continue to grow, we are focusing on expanding our authentication capabilities to ensure that we offer only the highest-quality items to our customers. Our goal is to set a new standard in the luxury resale industry while promoting sustainability.
This is an on-site position at our warehouse in Hamburg.
In this position, you’ll- Join a motivated, open-minded team of experienced brand experts and designer fashion enthusiasts.
- Examine watches and jewellery to verify their authenticity and ensure they are free from counterfeits or replicas.
- Assess materials, craftsmanship and serial numbers to confirm the originality and condition of each item.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and counterfeit techniques to continuously enhance your authentication skills.
- Have the opportunity to learn and develop your evaluation skills with us – what matters most is your passion and affinity for watches and fine jewellery.
- Ideally you have a solid knowledge of watch and jewellery brands, models, and their various features, allowing you to identify original from plagiarism.
- You are motivated to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest trends.
- Your background reflects a genuine passion for watches, jewelry, and attention to detail.
- Advantage: Experience in the luxury resale sector, watchmaking, jewellery appraisal, or a comparable industry.
