The Recipe (About the Role)
  • Lead the Weetabix Food Safety Audit programme 
  • Conduct audits against our resident contractors, ensuring strict compliance to the Weetabix Standard for Food Safety, the Weetabix Document Management System (WDMS) and meeting BRC, legal and customer requirements.  
  • Responsible for managing our identity and ethical compliance. Plan all internal audits (including resident contractors) 
  • Book and plan all external audits, completing required docs and working with factories with close outs  
  • Maintaining Compliance to all BRC, Integrity & customer standards 
  • Crisis management administration and mock recalls 
  • Review and approve material claims on 3i verify 
  • Deputise for Retailer and Systems manager 
  • Undertake any other duties, consistent with the level of the role, skills and experience, as may be reasonably required to help the business

Key Know How:

  • Lead Auditor experience
  • Level 3 HACCP 
  • Understanding of food safety, quality systems and BRC standards  
  • Technical and quality background within food manufacturing
