We are searching for an Audiologist – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll provide the highest quality age-appropriate audiologic care for patients newborn to 21 years of age within the scope of practice and established practice standards for Audiology. As the Clinical Generalist, you will function effectively as a member of the clinical team and supports the mission of Texas Children's Hospital.

Responsibilities:
- Age appropriate diagnostic assessments and interpretation
- Assist Advanced Clinical Specialist in training, off-orientation, and skills validation activities
- Clinical special projects such as calibration or research projects in conjunction with Advanced Clinical Specialist.
- Participates in the development of information sheets, handouts, home programs, or forms for the division
- Participates in the development of evidence based protocols and guideline
As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate required, Doctorate in Audiology preferred
- Texas Audiology License
- BLS - Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
- CCC-A Cert-Audiology (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association within 6 months of position start date) OR
- ABA-Cert (American Board of Audiology within 6 months of position start date)
- Preferred 3 years of experience
Skills Required
- Doctorate degree
- Doctorate in Audiology
- Texas Audiology License
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- CCC-A certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association within six months of start date, or ABA certification from the American Board of Audiology within six months
- Three years of experience
- Respiratory fit testing
