The Junior / Intermediate Bookkeeper supports day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll for Australian clients, ensuring accurate and compliant financial records across multiple clients.
Duties & Responsibilities- Assist with bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Support Australian payroll processing and compliance
- Assist in BAS and IAS preparation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Identify and escalate errors or discrepancies
- Complete tasks accurately and on time
- Collaborate with team members to maintain service quality
- 1–3 years bookkeeping experience (AU experience preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Australian GST and payroll
- Experience with Xero and Microsoft Office
- Exposure to Simpro or Employment Hero is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
