Job Overview: The Attributes Convergence Lead
Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all vehicle-level performance
attributes (such as weight, NVH, durability, safety, thermal, dynamics, Energy
Management, cost, and customer experience metrics) are optimized and converged
to meet program targets across all development phases. This role acts as the central integrator,
aligning cross-functional teams—CAE, design, feature owners, benchmarking, VoC,
Testing, and program management—to deliver a balanced, optimized vehicle.
Position
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain the Attributes
Convergence Plan, including gateways, timing, criteria, and report-out
structure.
· Communicate
gaps, risks, and recovery plans with clear engineering justification.
Facilitate
alignment between:
- Design engineering
- CAE teams
- Vehicle Attributes team (PQ, A&U, NVH,
safety, durability, CFD, weight, dynamics, thermal, Energy Management etc.)
- Vehicle architecture teams
- VOC & Benchmarking
- Testing Team
Ensure attribute compatibility and synergy—balance
trade-offs such as weight vs. durability, NVH vs. cost, performance vs.
efficiency:
- Assess engineering change proposals for
attribute impact.
- Own attribute risk registers and
convergence dashboards.
- Lead cross-functional war rooms when
attribute deviations are identified.
- Present convergence status to program
leadership reviews.
- Ensure full traceability from targets →
design inputs → CAE results → validation.

working knowledge of Agile methodologies and JIRA, with the ability to
effectively track, manage, and execute project tasks within the JIRA
environment.
- Leadership ability in a multidisciplinary
engineering environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and
regulatory requirements of all performance Attributes
