This role will be based in our Los Angeles office, on a hybrid-basis (4 days in-office/5 days in-office during the summer). This role reports to the Attorney Talent Acquisition Manager.
Position Summary
The Attorney Talent Acquisition Specialist will assist with coordination of the full cycle recruitment process for lateral shareholders, associates and non-track attorneys, as well as manage the OCI/summer/first-year associate programs. May also provide additional support to other offices.
Key Responsibilities
Meets regularly with office management, recruiting chairs and/or practice group leadership to review hiring needs and potential candidates
Provides support for and coordinates all on-campus recruiting activities and events
Manages entire process for law school recruitment, and assists the Talent Acquisition Manager with lateral attorney recruitment, including initial review of candidate materials, response to inquiries, collection of information from candidates, coordination of interview process (scheduling, monitoring, evaluation follow-up, etc.), and communication with candidates and search firms regarding candidate status
Coordinates with Talent Acquisition staff and other administrative departments (e.g., Human Resources, Conflicts) to complete various recruitment-related checks (background, conflicts, references, bar status, etc.) and new hire-related paperwork as well as other employment related processes
Assists other offices with candidate and market research as necessary
Manages relationships with search firms
Maintains applicant database and department records and generates reports
Assists with other department activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education & Prior Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field preferred.
Three to five years of related attorney recruiting experience, preferably with a large law firm
Prior experience working with university and law school contacts to coordinate, schedule, and promote on-campus programs and events preferred
Working knowledge of recruiting software and applicant tracking systems (i.e. Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter)
Technology
Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
The expected pay range for this position is:
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
