This role will be based in our New York office, on a in-office basis. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. This role reports to the Attorney Talent Acquisition Manager.
Position Summary
The Attorney Talent Acquisition Assistant plays a key role by assisting the Attorney Talent Acquisition (Legal Recruitment) team in carrying out activities related to the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of attorneys (in particular summer associates), and assisting with additional recruitment initiatives as needed. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed, especially during peak student recruiting periods.
Key Responsibilities
• Assists with the on-campus recruiting process and Summer Associate Program
• Provides support for the on-campus recruitment process by preparing materials, scheduling callback interviews, following-up with attorneys, and coordinating appropriate communications to candidates
• Assists with the coordination of in-person or virtual interviews for candidates and distribution of relevant materials to interviewers
• Communicates and interacts with candidates both in the office and on-campus
• Maintains and tracks candidates in the applicant tracking system, and manages and updates applicant databases with relevant information
• Performs miscellaneous administrative duties, including but not limited to processing invoices and law firm shared expenses
• Assists with other department activities/special projects as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education & Prior Experience
• High School Diploma; pursuing Bachelor’s Degree, particularly in Human Resources a plus
• Zero to two years administrative recruiting experience in a mid-to-large size professional organization preferred; law firm experience a plus
Technology
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly

The expected pay range for this position is:
$33.90 to $37.09 per hour
Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
