Pharmathen offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit an Attorney at Law to join our Legal team at our Marousi premises.

As an In-house Legal Counsel (Attorney at Law), you will be a key member of the Legal team, handling a broad range of complex legal matters by providing legal advice, guidance, and support to ensure the company’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background across various practice areas, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively navigate complex legal issues in a dynamic business environment.


Requirements

What you will do:

More particularly:

  • Provide expert legal advice and counsel on a broad range of legal issues affecting the organization in an accurate and timely manner
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements and service contracts, ensuring that contractual arrangements and other legal documents align with the organization’s objectives and legal requirements
  • Guide managers and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court proceedings, etc.) and/or coordinate and monitor external legal advisors
  • Effectively communicate legal matters to non-legal stakeholders and provide practical, business-oriented solutions while building relationships of trust
  • Stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring the company’s operations remain fully compliant
  • Identify potential legal risks, provide proactive solutions to mitigate them, conduct regular risk assessments, and implement actions to minimize the company’s legal exposure
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures related to legal matters and provide training and guidance to employees on legal topics and protocols

The ideal candidate should have:

  • LLB  degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing
  • LLM degree will be considered an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industry
  • Proven and extended knowledge on corporate law

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent communication in English and Greek language
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and industry standards, as an asset
  • Strong and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal matters and provide strategic legal advice
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Skills Required
