Attorney- Associate

Stark & Stark has a full-time opening for a Personal Injury Litigation Associate in our Newton, Pennsylvania office. The ideal candidate will have excellent legal research and writing skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and be self-directed and detail oriented. Candidates must be able to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

The candidate will support personal injury cases with the oversight of other attorneys in the practice. Responsibilities will include handling depositions, drafting and responding to pleadings, evaluating the merits of a personal injury claim, ascertaining experts, providing guidance and counsel to the clients through effective communication, medical review, and negotiating, settling, litigating cases and trial of cases.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience
• Personal injury experience is a plus
• Pennsylvania judicial clerkship is a plus

• Written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy

The candidate should possess strong, analytical, interpersonal, drafting, negotiation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to interact directly with clients. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Pennsylvania.
