Designed to allow students to demonstrate and apply the skills and knowledge gained in the Executive Master of Health Administration program. The Capstone course is an in-person intensive final course for EMHA students. Students will learn through lectures and panel presentations and apply case based learning to develop innovative solutions that address current challenges and needs in health care. The course will include visits to organizations offering innovative approaches to existing healthcare problems and provide examples of ways in which healthcare leaders can change the healthcare landscape.

Requirements:

Must have an MBA or Master's degree (PhD preferred) in an area directly related to health care leadership and innovation in a health care context. Must also demonstrate recent professional experience in the field, sound knowledge of the issues related to the area of the course. This course is delivered in person, therefore demonstrated experience in curriculum development, case based learning and group facilitation at the executive level is essential.
