Title: Claim Analyst 

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

 

Position Summary  

The Claims Analyst supports the resolution of ATM-related claims arising from discrepancies during the settlement process. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to determine root cause, financial impact, and liability in accordance with contractual obligations between NCR Atleos and its customers. 

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong accountability, a commitment to high-quality outcomes, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for cost control, process improvement, and strategic insights. 

 

Key Areas of Responsibility: 

  • Review ATM receipts, CIT (Cash-in-Transit) documentation, and processor data to validate and reconcile claims losses. 

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple systems to determine liability and root cause.  

  • Communicate effectively with customers, armored vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve claims in a timely manner. 

  • Review and interpret responses from vendors and customers to determine whether claims are sufficiently resolved. 

  • Recognize, analyze, and communicate trends within claims data to support strategic planning, loss prevention, and continuous improvement efforts.  

  • Provide regular updates on open claims through to resolution, maintaining transparency and ownership. 

  • Prepare reports and supporting documentation for management, including claims trackers and performance insights. 

  • Track and reconcile claims payments to ensure accuracy and completeness. 

  • Apply a cost-conscious mindset by identifying opportunities to minimize financial losses and improve efficiency in claims handling.  

  • Take full accountability for assigned work, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established processes.

  • Internal software applications. 

  • Microsoft Office Suite 

 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cause-and-effect relationships and communicate findings clearly. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.  

  • Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and time management skills. 

  • Demonstrates accountability and a high level of commitment to delivering quality outcomes for both team and customer.  

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 

  • Teachable mindset with a willingness to learn new processes, systems, and industry concepts quickly.  

  • Ability to think critically and contribute to strategic planning through trend analysis and problem identification.  

  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for cost control and operational efficiency improvements.  

  • Strong PC and keyboarding skills. 

  • Must successfully pass all applicable background screening tests. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Finance or a related field. 

  • Experience in banking, settlement, reconciliation, or claims processing. 

  • Basic SQL skill and/or Python (preferred but not required). 

  • Intermediate knowledge of ATM hardware, software, and cash supply chain operations
