Job Description:

Atlassian Admin Manager to support our cloud application suite. Jira Admin experience with minimum of 3 years of overall experience in managing, configuring, and customizing the Jira and Confluence tools. This position is responsible to administer and configure Jira Software and Confluence.

Responsibilities:

  • Configuration, maintenance, and administration of Atlassian products like Jira and Confluence.
  • Administer Jira software and Confluence, including user management and configurations, permission schemes, users, licenses and access.
  • Evaluate and manage the Atlassian marketplace add-ons and install to meet team and business needs.
  • Configure and Manage Jira projects, users, permissions, dashboards, notifications, custom fields, field configurations, workflows, and workflow functions.
  • Provide technical assistance and training in using JIRA and other tools as identified, along with briefing the team/s on new functionalities.
  • Standardize workflows, roles, and groups across multiple departments to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Perform data migration from one Atlassian environment to another, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
  • Confluence Implementation: Create new spaces for users, define permissions, and maintain a well-organized knowledge base.
  • Proactively seek and implement plugins to address specific needs and enhance functionality.
  • Provide ongoing support and trouble shooting for JIRA and Confluence users, including training sessions and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and implement solutions in Jira and Confluence.
  • Integrate Jira projects with Confluence pages to streamline collaboration and documentation processes.
  • Confluence configuration, setup, and administration tasks like managing users & groups, add-ons, plugins, macros and, creation of and management of, templates.
  • Support JIRA and Confluence users with their access and groups.
  • Manage system access across groups to ensure security compliance and maintain best practices.
  • Manage and train support team in access and permissions scheme and other administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • 3 years’ experience administrating Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Very good knowledge and experience working with Agile teams.
  • Experience with researching, evaluating, installing, and managing JIRA add-ons.
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills and process implementation skills.
  • Experience integrating JIRA with Confluence.

Salary Applicable to California: $150,000-$170,000
