About the Role
As an Athletes Manager, you'll drive Red Bull's sports marketing efforts in Egypt. You'll manage and scout new athlete talent, provide them with customized support, and create unique projects featuring international athletes and local landmarks. Building strong relationships with sports federations and ensuring top-notch brand representation will be key. You'll also handle logistics and budget management for athlete equipment and activities, maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Job Description
Athlete Portfolio Management
- Utilize all athletes and look for uprising new athletes.
- Continuously monitor the athlete landscape to identify potential new talent and opportunities for partnership.
Athlete Management
- Provide athletes with a custom package that includes marketing aid, compensation, bonuses, and additional support.
- Offer communication and performance support to ensure strong athlete engagement and satisfaction.
- Design unique athlete projects that leverage international athletes and local landmarks.
- Ensure the highest quality standards and innovation in athlete marketing from planning to execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to align athlete goals with overall business objectives.
- Ensure all athletes reflect Red Bull’s commitment to quality, distinction, authenticity, and innovation.
Federations Support and Handling
- Build and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with sports federations.
- Ensure appropriate brand representation within various sports disciplines.
- Assist federations in their expansion efforts, aligning their growth with Red Bull’s strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with federations to enhance the visibility and impact of the brand.
Tool and Budget Management
- Develop a streamlined logistics process for the inventory and distribution of athletes' equipment and materials.
- Ensure athletes are fully equipped with necessary gear and resources.
- Manage the budget for all athlete-related activities, ensuring alignment with financial benchmarks.
- Maintain brand appearance and integrity in all athlete engagements and activities.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in sports marketing, athlete management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of sports federations and their dynamics.
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the athlete experience.
