Athenix Solutions Group is looking for Data Engineers in the McLean, VA area for a variety of roles to develop new tools, code, and provide services to execute data engineering activities involving data of varying types and in varying conditions.
Do you have skills and experience in some of the following areas?
- Movement of structure and unstructured data using approved methods
- Executing data ingestion activities for storing data in a local or enterprise level location
- Developing code to format data that supports exploration
- Analyzing source data formats and work with Data Scientists and partners to determine the formats and transforms that best meet mission objectives
- Developing code and tools to provide one-time and on-going data extraction from various repositories, formatting and transformations into enterprise or standalone data models
- Developing new ETL and perform O&M and enhancements on existing ETL code using best practices/standards
- Developing and delivering documentation for each project including ETL mappings, code use guide, code location and access instructions

Minimum Requirements
- Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
- Junior Level – Bachelor’s degree or related field, and 0-3 years’ experience
- Mid Level – Bachelor’s degree or related field, and 4-7 years’ experience
- Senior Level- Bachelor’s degree or related field, and 8-11 years’ experience
- Expert/SME Level- Bachelor’s degree or related field, and 12+ years’ experience
Note:
- 3 years of unrelated experience qualifies as 1 year of related experience
- Masters degree qualifies as 1 year of related experience
- 3 certifications or applicable credentials qualifies as 1 year of related experience
