About IGNITE (Inspire Growth, Nurture Interns, Transform Excellence)

The IGNITE Internship Program is a 12-week internship at FedEx, offering high-potential youth the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, mentorship from industry experts, and practical skills to jumpstart their careers. Whether your interests lie in [list out all functions], this structured program is designed to help you learn, grow, and make a real impact from day one.

What You’ll Gain

  • Real-World Experience – Work on meaningful projects that drive business impact and learn best practices by shadowing experienced professionals.
  • Mentorship & Learning – Receive mentorship from industry professionals to accelerate your growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Job shadow within the function roles and assist on tasks given, providing support to learn the role responsibilities and train in variety of tasks.
  • Take notes and memos during meetings, type documents, drafts and reports (Subject to checking by the Intern Buddies).
  • Basic manifest review.
  • Computation of basic customs duties and taxes.
  • Basic tariff classification.
  • Preparation of manual entries and lodgment of Import Permits (Subject to checking by the Intern Buddies).
  • Preparation and lodgment of export entries or AEDS (Subject to checking by the Intern Buddies).
