ATE Manager

DRS RADA is a global pioneer of radar systems for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance. We are looking for a highly experienced ATE Group Manager to lead the development of all automated test equipment (ATE) and calibration systems for our advanced radar products.

In this role, you will oversee the entire ATE lifecycle, from R&D support to full-scale production line integration.

You will manage a multidisciplinary group of approximately 15 engineers, including System, Integration and Software teams, ensuring the delivery testing solutions and radar calibration capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the ATE group (approx. 15 engineers), including Team Leaders.
• Define the technical roadmap for the company's testing environments, including radar calibration methodologies and production-line testers.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of complex RF-based ATE systems.
• Manage operations within Anechoic Chambers for radar characterization and testing.
• Collaborate closely with diverse interfaces: R&D, Business Units, Production Management, and System Engineers.
• Drive operational excellence, ensuring test equipment reliability, stability, and scalability across multiple sites.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in leading large engineering groups (10+ members) or multiple teams – Must.
• Deep technical expertise in RF systems, RF test equipment, and ATE development.
• Proven experience in radar calibration and working with Anechoic Chambers – Significant Advantage.
• Strong background in multidisciplinary system integration (Hardware, Software, and RF).
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.

The position is based in Netanya, and requires regular presence and travel to our production facility in Beit She'an (where part of the team is located).
