Chemours is seeking an Assurance Analyst to join our growing Assurance Services team! This position will report directly to the Assurance Manager at our Wilmington, DE location.

The Assurance Analyst will play an active role throughout all stages of our engagements. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the function. Chemours Assurance Services is a critical resource for the Company and supports Management and the Audit Committee by providing high-impact objective assurance and advisory services. We perform engagements to help business units and functions understand, manage and mitigate risk, strengthen controls and improve performance.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Participates in both financial and operational/integrated audits, collaborating with other CAS team members (including co-sourced team members and off-shore staff).

  • Planning and scoping, conducting audit opening/closing/status meetings, executing work programs, conducting interviews and testing, documenting findings, making recommendations, preparing work papers, and writing reports.

  • Ensuring compliance with the professional standards as established by The Institute of Internal Auditors and also with CAS’ own methodologies, policies, and procedures.

  • Interacts with individuals at all levels of the businesses and functions, including communicating observations and findings to audit clients.

  • Participates in special projects and brainstorming sessions, including development of the dynamic annual Internal Audit plan.

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance or similar.

  • CPA, CIA or other similar certification(s) obtained or in progress.

  • 2 years of experience in Internal Audit or External Audit.

  • Knowledge of and experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and methodologies for achieving compliance and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA’s) code of ethics and professional standards.

  • Ability to travel (domestic and international) – approximately 20%.

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Working knowledge of SAP and/or other financial applications.

  • Experience acquiring data then transforming, mapping, cleansing, and preparing data for analysis.

  • Experience with data tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, QlikView, ACL, IDEA).

  • Big 4 experience preferred.

  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Pay Range (in local currency):

$70,426.00 - $110,040.00

Annual Bonus Target:
