The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate Director, Sales Engineering to lead pre-sales technical activities and support the development and implementation of complex solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and a passion for enabling sales success through innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical knowledge, advice, and support to sales teams, resellers, and customers during the pre-sales process.
  • Manage pre-sales technical activities for complex product/application/solution development.
  • Assist customers in maximizing the value of our products and services.
  • Contribute technical input to bid proposals and identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Develop detailed customer installation and system integration plans.
  • Lead technical support during sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product managers to define new products.
  • Serve as a technical liaison on specific customer projects.
  • Share and implement best practices across teams.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Deep knowledge of sales engineering and related technical domains
  • Proven track record of working directly with Healthcare clients, ideally within the provider Health IT and/or operational clinical systems area
  • Extensive knowledge of Health IT tech offerings, customer account management
  • Ability to manage complex technical projects and to develop/execute technical sales strategies
  • Ability to work independently and engage wider go to market stakeholders across organization both internally and externally
  • Fluent English, knowledge of a second language is a plus.
