Location:
New York, NYVanity Fair seeks a detail-oriented, organized, and digitally savvy Associate Web Producer to join our fast-paced editorial team. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and strong communicator with an editorial background—and ideally experience with a CMS. The associate producer will be responsible for maintaining the print-to-web production calendar, as well as building magazine and digital-first stories. Moreover, they’ll be expected to coordinate amongst many departments, including editors, writers, social media managers, fact-checkers, copy editors, and photo editors. The role will work alongside an associate newsletter producer and report to VF’s Associate Director of Editorial Operations. This is an in-office position based in New York City.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build daily articles and galleries for VF.com, including all magazine content and online-only features
Manage site upkeep, such as homepage updates, story quality control, and bug tracking
Assist in the management of Vanity Fair’s digital archive and narrated audio programs
Coordinate content between editors, writers, copy editors, and social media managers, and more
Write homepage and web display as needed
Help with special production projects, including themed issues, tentpole events, and live blogs
Requirements:
Minimum 1–2 years experience in digital media, experience with a CMS preferred
Based in New York City
A self-starting team player who is detail-oriented and able to multitask
Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills—and tech savviness
A passion for Vanity Fair’s print and digital content
This is a guild position.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $67,500-$73,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
