The Role
AT A GLANCE

We’re looking for an Associate Video Content Creator to support our Audience Development Strategy by creating best-in-class short-form vertical video content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok. This role is ideal for a creative, social savvy storyteller who understands platform best practices, trend driven content and audience engagement strategies. You will play a critical role in growing segmented chronic condition audiences by developing thumbstopping video content and translating social insights into action.

Where You'll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on an in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our South Charlotte office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll DoShort Form Video Creation & Editing
  • Produce, edit and optimize engaging short-form video content tailed for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels
  • Ensure all content aligns with platform best practices, audience behaviors and brand identity
  • Concept, shoot and edit video independently, ensuring high-quality execution at pace
  • Maintain consistency across all video content from branding to messaging

Audience Growth & Engagement

  • Develop trend-driven, platform native video content that increases engagement and follower acquisition
  • Actively monitor and engage with audiences across TikTok and YouTube fostering conversations from Healthline’s brand voice. 
  • Support data analysis of content performance and leverage social insights to make data driven decision in order to iterate and optimize content production
  • Keep a pulse on emerging platform features, trends and cultural moments, proposing innovative content ideas that translate into action for Healthline

Content Strategy & Collaboration

  • Manage the video content calendar, creative briefing and asset delivery to ensure timely and successful delivery of work
  • Work closely with social, video, editorial and SEO teams to align video content with brand campaigns and social trends
  • Brainstorm and pitch ownable video series that support brand awareness and audience development goals

Project & Workflow Management

  • Balance multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and creative direction
  • Take ownership of content production, working independently while also thriving in a collaborative, fast paced environment
  • Accept and implement feedback quickly, refining content to meet performance and brand standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in creating, editing and optimizing high-performing short-form video content on TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut etc. 
  • Strong grasp of social platform functionality, algorithm nuances and best practices for vertical video
  • Ability to conceptualize and produce original, trend-forward content that drives audience engagement
  • Passion for health and wellness with an understand of how to communicate complex health topics in an engaging, digestible way
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and social metrics with the ability to interpret content performance and apply insights
  • Ability to write on-brand captions, ensuring accuracy in grammar, brand tone and messaging
  • Creative problem solver, innovative thinker and adaptable to fast moving trends and social platform updates
  • Highly organized, self motivated and proactive with exceptional time and project management skills 
  • Familiarity with social media paid campaigns and how organic content can complement paid strategies a plus
  • Basic understanding of animation tools like After Effects is a plus
  • Experience work in digital media, publishing or health-related industries a plus

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $50,000.00 - $67,000.00
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
