YOUR NEW ROLE
- Be a key contributor in a high-performance analytics team, working collaboratively within cross-functional Remediation squads to support the timely resolution of Events across the Enterprise
- Create analytical tools and models to quantify the number of customers impacted by different types of Events
- Develop the financial calculators to determine the appropriate customer compensation to ensure customers are remediated fairly, accurately and in a timely manner
- Be involved in delivering initiatives that uplift the consistency and performance of the team
- Contribute towards the Remediation Analytics capability and team at NAB that is customer centric, efficient, timely, transparent and comprehensive
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 8+ years of Data analysis experience in a technology and data domain.
- Extensive hands-on experience in SQL in traditional DBMS and/or Cloud. Python knowledge is good to have.
- Knowledge of core data principles such as Data Science, Engineering, Analysis and Data Modelling.
- Knowledge of typical data sourcing / ETL requirement gathering, planning, risks, issues, and the presentation, communication and treatment of these
- Testing and validation of data quality
- Agile Project Management including typical ceremonies and tools is highly regarded
- Version control knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of Banking products and financial calculations (e.g. mortgage amortisation, interest, fees and refunds
- Requirements gathering and prioritisation particularly in data/technology
- Experience in interpreting data outputs and summarising findings
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics/ computer science, statistics or related discipline

Skills Required
