Title: Associate Vendor Management Specialist
Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid
Work Timings: 12 PM - 9 PM IST
Introduction:
CSC's Global Subsidiary Management (GSM) Team offers corporate compliance and governance services to Fortune 500 companies in more than 140 countries around the globe. By partnering with CSC, clients reduce the complexities associated with international business. Our local presence, coupled with CSC's robust affiliate network, assists our clients with their subsidiaries' compliance obligations, regardless of where in the world they are registered.
As a Global Resource Partner (GRP), your primary responsibilities will be to source, onboard, and manage relationships with local service providers while maintaining the accuracy of statutory data and internal procedures in GSM's knowledgebase. Through collaborating with leadership and team members, you will enhance the effectiveness and user experience of internal resources, identify gaps in local service delivery based on business needs, and communicate regulatory changes to both internal and external stakeholders.
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is self-motivated will do well in this position. Successful candidates are service-oriented, deadline-driven, agile, and work well as part of a team or independently. This role requires a strong ability to prioritize, excellent organizational skills, close attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively with minimal direction.
Some of the things you'll be doing:
  • Managing the accuracy and effectiveness of the GSM knowledgebase through fulfilling of requested updates and addressing opportunities to improve user experience.
  • Look at how we can further enhance our GSM knowledgebase and how this can align with future technology rollouts (AI Chatbot, new ordering system, etc.
  • Identifying gaps in knowledgebase data through conducting research or gathering applicable information from local partners.
  • Liaising with local service providers, both CSC offices and third-party vendors, to enhance service delivery, address customer escalations, and improve gaps in processes.
  • Sourcing local firms or professionals to expand our global network of service providers.
  • Onboarding new service providers through execution of vendor agreements, submission of vendor details to finance, and creation of internal records.
  • Assist with our Third Party Risk Management process to ensure all vendors are tiered appropriately and risks are managed with periodic reviews.
  • Renegotiating pricing and service offerings with local providers based on needs of the business and market trends.
  • Helping with any escalations and ensure that matters are being handled on an urgent basis and any SLA timelines are being met.
  • Researching, drafting and sending internal and external change communication for statutory changes.
  • Working with training team to facilitate knowledgebase new hire and refresher trainings.
  • Engaging with GSM Leadership and fellow team members to set project goals and review progress towards achieving those goals.
  • Assisting our Sales Engineers with any prospective client requests to obtain details and pricing based on the clients' needs.
  • Maintaining and managing 100% accuracy in all the deliverables. Should deploy first-time right approach and ensure proper checks to avoid rework.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
  • 3-5 years of experience - experience in the corporate services industry, preferred
  • In-depth knowledge, or interest in researching and understanding corporate laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Pragmatic but critical approach, attention to detail and problem-solving mentality with research and analytical skills
  • Flexibility to shift working hours based on international time zone needs
  • Effective time management skills and ability to shift priorities based on needs of the business
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting, often with minimal direction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn and work effectively in multiple technology applications
