We are looking for an Associate Trademark Search Analyst to join our Search Analysis team in Belgrade. This is an amazing opportunity to work on different trademark search analysis projects. The team consists of 20 people and is reporting to the Manager of Search Analysis. We would love to speak with you if you are interested in learning more about trademark searches and IP industry.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- 6 months - 1 year experience in a business/customer focused environment
- Fluent in English (B2/C1)

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet)
- Internet searching utilizing search engines
- Strong communication (oral and written), organizational and interpersonal skills
- Analytical & problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail
What will you be doing in this role?
- Completes trademark research reports: Analyzes research requests and develops an effective search strategy based on trademark, goods similarity, and international classifications, as well as product scope; Formulates queries using various search engines such as Google and CompuMark proprietary databases; Analyzes data retrieved and selects the most pertinent references for inclusion on trademark research reports for delivery to customers; Works with mentors to ensure research approach results in high quality; Provides internal feedback and recommendations to management on opportunities to improve quality or processes
- Provides customer service support through the following means: Answers clients’ inquiries and proactively contacts clients regarding CompuMark Search products and services via written communication, in person, or over the phone; Answers internal questions regarding trademark research report results to colleagues; Follows through on client inquiries with the appropriate Team Leader, Manager and/or other appropriate department/team member; Manages daily production including completing all assigned trademark research tasks according to expected delivery time frame
About the Team
Search Analysis team (20 team members located in Belgrade) is responsible for conducting trademark research and analysis on the Internet, specialized databases, and other sources as necessary to produce quality research reports for CompuMark clients. We are responsible for finding and reporting valuable, relevant information which aids in the client’s decision-making process regarding trademark availability. Therefore, we provide customer service support by proactively contacting clients to discuss search strategies and selection preferences.

Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, 40 working hours per week (EMEA shift: 8 hour shift) This is a hybrid position working in the office 3 days every other week.
