Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate-Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. As an integral part of our quality assurance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our software products.
- Execute test cases and report bugs using industry-standard tools and methodologies
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans
- Design and implement manual and automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-release support
- Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to the development team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of testing procedures and results
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies
- Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in software testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Proficiency in test case design, execution, and bug reporting
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium and JUnit
- Basic programming skills in languages like Java or Python
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- ISTQB certification is a plus
