Position Overview:
The Associate Test Engineer is responsible for the testing and validation of the IRT systems. Working closely with the Senior Test Engineer and Project team, they are responsible for delivering a high quality system to the client.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for testing through the entire lifecycle of a project, including test case development, execution and verification.
- Tracking and reporting software defects, along with verifying resolved issues in ticket tracking application.
- Analyzing the test strategy and test cases, and writing automated test scripts using Playwright, running the tests and reporting using the tool.
- Continuously improve the automation test coverage
- Understand and setup automation running of tests using the Azure DevOps platform.
- Assist in on-going process improvement for test case management.
- Manages defects and reports testing status to project teams and Lead Test Engineer.
- Provide the project team with testing progress and continuous risk assessment during the Testing phase.
- Support validation efforts by acquiring evidence during testing phase, as well as generating validation reports at cycle end.
- Proactively works to understand the major components of the product through training and client assignments.
- Address any production incidents, enhancements, or data changes within the defined timeframe.
- Create and execute test cases.
- Proactively works to understand the major components of the product through training and project assignments.
- Document traceability between testing and system requirements documentation in a timely manner.
- Complete all testing deliverables at the end of the testing cycle.
- Demonstrate efficient and accurate completion of all responsibilities.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience
Experience:
- 2 years’ experience working in software development, software testing or Quality Assurance.
- 2+ years of automation testing, preferably using Playwright
- Experience in full Test lifecycle, including test strategy, test script creation, executing tests in headed and headless modes, reporting errors and tracking updates.
- Experience in integrating tests using CICD pipelines and automated execution, preferably in Azure DevOps.
- Some experience with testing automation.
- Strong ability to understand technical software concepts and comfortable interacting with databases.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred.
- Prior experience testing voice (IVR) web (IWR) and mobile (IMR) platforms a big plus.

- A high-level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to multi-task.
