Our client, a leading semiconductor client, is looking for an Associate Test Engineer 2 (Shift 2).
Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension)
Location: Milpitas, CA
Pay
Rate: $37.40 - $39.60/hr on W2

Schedule:
• Day Shift Training Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Post-Training Shift: 4 PM - 2:30 AM (with a 30-minute lunch
break)
• Overtime: Opportunities to work overtime during regular
shifts; weekends are optional.
Responsibilities:
- Perform set-up, calibration, testing and
troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at system level.
- Determine and may develop methods and
procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final
systems, and complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of
testing.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings
and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection
and set-up of specialized test equipment.
- Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical
assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to work in a clean room environment is
required.
- Experience with systems development and
testing, including formulating system level requirements, test specifications
and test results.
- Hands on experience using Oscilloscopes and DVM
analysis tools and equipment is preferred.
- Use and manipulate a variety of fine adjustment
hand tools, torque wrenches and calipers.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
